Hotel views, room (4410), staff and wellness facilities cannot be faulted (massages are particularly recommended). Shout-out for the lady by the pool (Bibiran, was her name, we think), who was especially helpful when booking boat trips, and had the most wonderful smile to cheer you up when the weather wasn't too good. Food and drink was plentiful and varied, but not as much local cuisine as might have been expected (or hoped for). The Bay of Kotor and surrounding mountains are stunning, but there is a lot of dilapidation along the shorelines, hundreds of incomplete buildings, miles of damaged roads (think twice about self-drive), whilst public transport should not be considered. Taxi transfer (booked in advance) from Dubrovnik Airport is also recommended, but be warned that on-line check-in at the latter is not available.

Not the greatest service! Takes 2 hrs to check in & check out in this place. Even as a IHG member there was no priority check in and was not even recognised for my loyalty. The man behind the counter was very rude. Had to take a bit of a trek to get to our hotel room. The area is also pretty boring… but nice views.

Hotel fantastic and the view is amazing. Fortunate to have traveled all over the world Australiasia, South America, Asia, Europe etc and I feel Montenegro is one of the most beautiful countries I have ever seen and we just loved it ❤️ Hotel is located at the end of a beautiful peninsula and has fantastic views looking over the bay. Hotel staff are amazing and so friendly, helpful and nice. Really good value as don't normally do all.inclusive but worked out well and food very nice. Trips/tips: * Hired a car at hotel and worked out well.Automatic Skoda around €55 euros per day and it was v economical. To fill up around €16 euros. * Porto Montenegro is fab and we found interesting/pleasant. Lots of super yachts, designer shops, nice restaurants and coffee shops. * Beautiful walk along the road to Herceg Novi (we walked facing oncoming traffic & was safe as road very wide). Cars give you lots of space and the view is stunning. Walk up the road & take a right at the sharp turn then think it's the 1st right (you'll see a big white building in front of you) keep walking and beautiful church on the LH side and you will have walked over a small waterway). Went inside church and it's beautiful. Apetit cafe nice on the rh side. * Local bus to Kotor was lovely and bus station in Herceg Novi takes around 1 to 1.5 hours to Kotor and stunning views. Tickets around €7 euros per person (we were advised they don't do returns so had to buy both ways). By the time we had paid taxi back from Herceg Novi, bus for 2 adults and 1 child it was not much difference to hire a car for the day so that's what we did the day after. Bus good for 1st trip to get your bearings and stunning trip around the bay. * Bus from hotel into Herceg Novi - €1 euro pp and think times are 7.05,1.05 and 3.05 and taxi around €11 euros one way. Drove to Budva however be aware traffic awful around and before Tivat and major roadworks. Very busy at start of season so dread to think what it will be like in summer! From Budva you can get boat trips if you want and we did one from Perast to a small island (think around €20 euros for 3 return). Dubrovnik - think around €25 pp we didn't do as been before. Perast - if you drive here you can get ferry across lake and it takes off around 45 mins if driving around lake and was €4 euros per car. Massage - had massage at hotel and amazing so would highly recommend Food - I thought it was nice and know others have complained but we found it is very nice. Cash - take plenty of cash as they seem to prefer cash for car hire, bus, massage etc. Typical as I had sorted a monzo card and only a little cash but this trip needed more cash less card. Used hotel cashpoint (charges €5 euros to use and exchange rate not as good think .96 to the £1. Book this hotel as you will have a fabulous time we loved it.
