Sorat Hotel Ambassador

Me and my wife stayed Sorat hotel on Europe trip. It's very pleasant experience even we made the booking on wrong date reception was manage to give us a room. It's 24 hours open and always helpful staff. Room is having proper space and very comfortable

This was such a lovely experience for us, a family group over three generations. Hotel is right in city, a very short walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants and to the U-Bahn. The rooms were clean, comfortable and all staff we encountered , from reception to housekeeping, were pleasant and helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends and family. Only suggestion for improvement would be to put (the option of?) plastic glasses in the bedrooms, we managed to break two on the hardwood floors when we were there!

My partner and I stayed here from 9th to 14th October 2024. It was the best hotel I've ever stayed in and would award it 5★+, that's to say it could have been less good and still received 5★ from me. It's quiet, ideally located and it's a safe area. There's an underground/ U-bahn station very close by, along with a superb little Edeka supermarket with lots of ready to eat food. A couple we chatted to on the plane stayed in the Alexanderplatz area and had a very different experience! The sleep quality is always the main consideration when it comes to a hotel in my view. Here, it was excellent. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've experienced and we slept soundly every night. We selected a "courtyard" room, which was a little quieter than one at the front would have been. The room is cleaned every 3 days, which is ideal. We don't need any more often than that, but if you want additional towels, they'll provide them on request. They also wash your crockery and cutlery if you take it down to reception. There's no breakfast service, but again, that is fine, as the nearby shop has it covered. They provide free tea/coffee and croissants in the morning, which is perfect for a morning snack and caffeine fix! The staff are great and speak good English, although I must make it clear that I would never comment negatively about hotel staff in a non-English speaking country not speaking English! Special mention must go to a lovely man called Ralf on the reception counter, who served us with distinction on multiple occasions. We left our luggage there on our last day as we had a late flight. We would certainly stay here again and fully recommend it to anyone looking for a great hotel in Berlin. 😃

Great location. Very clean. Staff at reception really good and helpful and chatty, I liked them very much. Wifi good. Grab and go breakfast fine for on the way out the door for a quick bite (croissants, hot drinks, banana). Found the beds very uncomfortable, quite hard for me. Shower had a bit of a leak out the front that made rest of bathroom floor wet. Managed to reduce it by lowering the shower rail ourselves.

It was my first time in Germany and as a solo traveller, I was a bit worried. However, I found out there was absolutely nothing to worry about. The Hotel was a walking distance from the Bus Station (although I took the bus when I arrived but walked when I departed). It was also 5 minutes walk from the venue of my conference - which made it very convienient. Lots of shops nearby. The Zoo also close to the Hotel. Check in was simple and fast. The ambience was quite cozy, the bathroom was clean. The room was also clean and looked quite cute. I'm not a breakfast person so didn't have breakfast. I didn't have any meal at the Hotel as meals were provided at the conference I attended. Sorat Hotel felt really cozy and I absolutely enjoyed my 3 nights there. I would love to stay there again and will definitely recommend. Two things they can do to improve - provide small refridgerators in the rooms and empty dustbins daily. You don't have to change bed sheets daily.
