TUI BLUE Victoria Menorca

Hotel je přímo u 300m dlouhé písčité pláže malebné vesničky Santo Tomas na jihu ostrova. Hotel má 250 pokojů, ale i při plné obsazenosti působí klidným dojmem díky adults-only modelu. Ve všech prostorách i na pokoji je vzorně čisto a klid. Neruší žádné hlasité animace. U bazénu je dostatek lehátek jakož i možnost si lehnout do stínu vzrostlých stromů na zahradě. A na pláž je od branky jen 30 metů. Běžný dvoulůžkový pokoj s balkonem je prostorný a má minibar. Nevyužili jsme možnost all-inclusive, polopenze nám vyhovovala, protože cena nápojů je přiměřená. Snídaně jsou opuletní co výběru včetně místních specialit, včetně čerstvého smootie a nechybí ani cava. Věčeře byly vynikající, bohaté co do výběru předkrmů, hlavních jídel i dezertů. Lze sedět uvnitř klimatizovaného sálu i venku. Obsluha je milá a pozorná. Od hotelu je příjemná procházka na sousední pláže Son Bou. Hotel můžeme jen doporučit a rádi se vrátíme zas.

Quite an amazing hotel as it was almost perfect in every sense - Probably the cleanest hotel we have stayed at, it certainly had the best staff we have come across and its beachside location was amazing. The buffet type food can not be faulted which is rare for a holiday hotel like this , it was varied, plentiful and served by amazing staff . The room was perhaps smaller than we’ve had in the past and like many say, wardrobe space could be improved but, the bed was comfy and despite having a standard room . we had a sea view and could watch setting suns if we chose. The shower was the best we’ve had anywhere in the world. There were UK TV channels available on the TV . We were lucky when we were there to enjoy some brilliant evening entertainment, we had Boy Bands tributes, Motown, Michael Jackson, Abba , Dance music - the only dissapointment was a ‘silent disco’ night which was a waste of time. Day time entertainments were ok but we didn’t move off the sunlounger. [ the sun loungers were a bit uncomfortable but not enough to spoil things]. The GYM was adequate but lacked a rowing machine. The rooftop quiet area was a nice treat with amazing views. We don’t normally pick out staff but a mention has to be made to Matt who was simply amazing.The resort itself was quiet but we knew that , we were able to take a few walks along the coast discovering a couple of beachside bars. We can not fault this hotel or holiday and if we can find more sociable flights we will boom again .

We've just returned from a second visit to TUI Blue Victoria - and are already planning to return next year. The hotel is lovely, incredibly clean - to the point the staff were cleaning the reception toilets past 10pm! Speaking of the staff, they literally cannot do enough for you. The pool bar staff in particular are brilliant, so friendly and even remembering drink orders. The rooms are a really decent size, we had a balcony overlooking the front of the hotel, and the views were beautiful. Rooms are cleaned daily, and are spotless. Cannot wait to go back!

We stayed here 7-14 September on half board basis. First impressions were good with welcome drink though lots of arrived at once so bit of queue at check in. Transfer was quick, just over 30 minutes I think. It was our anniversary and had requested a sea view room if possible and the hotel were really helpful in making this happen and got the bonus of having the use of a day bed one day which was a lovely surprise. We also loved your wrist band was your key card, simple but so effective and made it so much easier rather than trying to find where you have put it. The rooms are very nice; comfy bed and nice powerful shower. As others have said; not the most space for storage but doable. Tv has some English channels too and fridge had some refreshments in when we arrived. Free use of safe too. Air conditioning we did find didn't work very well on the hotter days and could have done with cooler. The hotel is spotless, the cleaners work so hard and do a great job. All the staff are so lovely and friendly. We did the wine tasting with Angela which we totally recommend, she was amazing and it was such good fun. We found the food in the restaurant very good though being veggie limited options but we loved the big salad bar and fresh bread brilliant, we always found something. The breakfast was also amazing and we loved the smoothies and shakes which never had anywhere else. Small point would be nice to have fresh juice as others have said. Sitting outside at restaurant is lovely and has great views of sun setting. Drinks reasonable and good cocktails. You can upgrade to all inclusive for 40e a day which we considered but didn't find we were spending that much so stayed half board. We also ate out at the nearby es pins a few nights which we found to be lovely. The fitness classes here were so good and David was brilliant at his job, you could tell how passionate he is. I done the Pilates, step and banded workouts and yoga on the beach which was a lovely experience. He really made you feel at ease and explained everything. I also used the gym once which was a nice space and had enough equipment to be able to do a workout. We used the sauna but you do have to book in for a slot at the gym as can't be done on the app. The app is is great for seeing what activities are on and booking on. The aqua aerobics was always good fun too. Another great point of this hotel is the large area around the pool, no need to get up early for sunbed as so many around and a huge seating area too which is lovely. And plenty of day beds you can hire and comfy seating and two jacuzzis though they are very cold. There is waiter service round main pool but found this was mainly for all inclusive guests. Do also book in for the rooftop restaurant as just the best experience, lovely food and atmosphere. We felt like we were dining out, staff were incredible too. We also spent most days up there as the sunbeds are so much more comfortable and great views. Also very peaceful and small pool and bar. You do have to get up there from 10am when opens though sometimes you could get beds later. The lift is very temperamental tho and has a world of its own. Would be good if you could use stairs too as you could sometimes be waiting for some time. The area is very quiet but has a lovely promenade walk which we done most days and evenings and some shops, restaurants and bars. We also went through the wooded area and walked towards son bou which is lovely walk too but be aware there is a nudist beach in that direction! Evening entertainment is hit and miss with some acts better than others but we absolutely loved the silent disco, we had the best fun! There is also table tennis and a pool table. We did say it would be good to have somewhere where you could fill up water bottles which we have had at other hotels. The clientele is older and we are still quite young at heart in our 40s so did find this a little bit different to our other holidays. But it was perfect for what we wanted which was to rest and relax, it is a very chilled place. All in all, a lovely hotel with brilliant staff and so clean, ideal if you are looking for a restful break.

The best Tui hotel experience we have ever had. Pros Fantastic friendly staff Beautiful clean rooms with power showers. Drinks are handmade - no horrid machine cocktails - this is the only Tui hotel that we have stayed in that makes real cocktails! Lovely Cava at a reasonable price All drinks are priced reasonably, as is the food - no need to venture out elsewhere The food is of excellent quality - try the carrot cake /fantastic fish every night, don’t go to dinner too late as you will miss out. Great cheese and fruit/paella etc. The reps get to know you and don’t harass you for activities if you don’t want to participate. Low key night entertainment. Fantastic outside area where you will never struggle to get sun-beds. Located next to the beach Cons Well there aren’t any really - but things that would have been nice: A bath in the room (but I think you may be able to request this). The pool was FREEZING even with outdoor swim kit on… only went in once (it would be nice if it was heated). And finally if the music was turned off around the pool. It was irritating and a few of us tried to cover up the built in speakers, but to no avail. Most people have headphones and their own music, hard to read with the music playing and everyone trying to read or sleep. There was different music at the pool bar so no need at the pool in my opinion. Area Extremely quiet, but that is what we wanted. We hired a car and explored which was nice. Hardly anywhere to walk to for a meal, which is okay as the hotel is excellent. Had we known what fab food and drinks they have, we would have upgraded to all inclusive. We were half board. You can upgrade when you get there. I was ill during our stay and a special mention to receptionist Sophie who was so kind as I was in a lot of pain, I needed a hot water bottle, luckily got one from the pharmacy next to the hotel, (on return home it became obvious I had shingles). There are a few lovely little shops on the main road with everything you need. Various mini markets, hair clips, drinks, ice creams, wine, brandy, body products - each store offers different products so worth looking at them all . If you forget hair remover go to the one near the lord nelson…. That is one of my favourite shops. Nice earrings in the store with the swimwear next to the pharmacy. Also special thank you to Womba the pool bar manager, an amazingly kind man. Would we return? Definitely.
